This moodle place is the repository for events, activities and outputs from the 2023-24 Academic Year STACK-UP Programme.

Recordings of speaker / employer events will be uploaded together with forums to enable student and staff interaction with those employers who have taken part. This will also form a channel of communication and opportunity between student and employer communities for GMBS.

In addition the pages will be used to share results of our ongoing research into student, staff and employer views about Employability and what makes graduates employable (in particular graduates from GMBS).

This module non-credit-bearing, compulsory module, you will consolidate and develop your academic and research skills to provide a foundation for the credit-bearing modules. To support this, the module comprises academic and research skills, including writing styles, critical analysis, data collection and analysis, and critical reflection. The GAME+ attributes developed and assessed in this module are Critical self-management, Professional identity and Skills mastery. Module content is adapted to reflect the specific needs of the (COHORT) and to ensure that the latest thinking is incorporated

This "Anchor Module" enables you to consolidate and develop further your knowledge of your MRes specialism. Key principles and theories relating to the specialist subject area are critically evaluated and contemporary practices in complex environments are explored. The module serves to broadly underpin your selected area of research later in the programme. The GAME+ attributes developed and assessed in this module are Critical Creativity and innovation, Professional identity and Skills mastery. The module thus addresses COHORT, CONTEMPORARY and CONSOLIDATE aspects of the curriculum.
