This module examines current healthcare strategies and policies pertinent to health informatics, how they are utilised in the delivery of healthcare, and the design, implementation, and evaluation of a wide range of digital health systems.
Students will acquire relevant and transferable skills in designing and implementing decision-support systems, understanding clinical coding and disease classification, and gaining an understanding of capacity and demand planning in healthcare. This module builds on prior knowledge of data-driven strategies to gain insight and knowledge.
