Description and Purpose of Module

This module will allow you to consider how to integrate English and Maths skills into your teaching to support your learners'  learning and development in these areas.  You will look at the importance of all these areas in the learning and teaching of other subject areas. You will also develop your own knowledge and understanding of the key features of numeracy, literacy and language and use this knowledge and understanding to enhance your own teaching practice.
