The purpose of this module is to enable you to develop knowledge and understanding of contemporary issues for policy and practice across human services. This module will enable you to consider the ways in which policy decisions are made by central and local government with the context of the ideologies. Consequently this module will build your critical understanding of the role of practitioners, interest groups and political interest groups in policy development. This will allow for the evaluation and implementation of policy and practice across human services (Health and Social Care; Early Years; Community development and Youth work).
