The module will apply your understanding of science and engineering principles to the field of therapeutic modalities. In the first half of the module, you will gain the knowledge surrounding the healing and recovery processes from common musculoskeletal injuries and how therapeutic modalities can create an optimal healing environment. In the second half of the module, you will study the inner mechanisms of these modalities from an engineering perspective. This module teaches and assesses C4, C5, C15 and C17, and develops C1, C8, C11, C16 and C18 of the AHEP4 for CEng. The GAME attributes covered are Effective communication and Confidence.
