In this pre-sessional digital photography module, you will learn the fundamentals of using a DSLR or mirrorless camera. This hands-on, project-led module will nurture your creative skills by developing your understanding of the technical capability of your digital camera through photo assignments and critique sessions. Topics include technical camera settings such as controlling exposure modes, ISO, shutter speed, aperture, depth of field as well as aesthetic elements such as light, colour, composition and lens choice. You will also gain an introduction to organising and editing images using industry software.
