In this module, you will learn how to:
Create innovative holistic solutions in response to a given brief/scenario in the built environment sector. Perform and evaluate laboratory tests on sustainable materials that are on the market, or on material that you have developed for use in the built environment sector.
Critically appraise the problems associated with global warming and other associated problems such as pollution, waste and contamination, analysing the mitigation measures available.
Critically evaluate Modern Methods of Construction to find solutions to productivity and quality problems, using off-site manufacturing processes, lean construction and robotics.
