HLT6097-22-UOB-J Achieving Proficiency in Professional Practice

In this final module of the programme apprentices will draw together theirprevious learning to demonstrate they have met the benchmark standards forthe Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education 'Operating DepartmentPractitioner (Integrated Degree) standards, HCPC Codes of Conduct,Performance and Ethics and HCPC Standards of Proficiency for OperatingDepartment Practitioners. Work-based learning will take a leading role in thepreparation for assessment, which will be undertaken in the clinical practiceenvironment. Students will be required to focus on knowledge, skills andbehaviour consolidation, and providing evidence-based rationale for theircare. This module will support students with the transition into professional,autonomous practice and entry to the HCPC register.
