Learning is centred on the workplace environment with an emphasis the emergent student practitioner and the skills required for this role. The emphasis of learning and teaching in this module is on learning through work and learning at work. The Placement tutor will observe your practice in the workplace and guide you in how to further develop your practical skills. The aim here is for you to identify key aspects in becoming a professional practitioner.
The sessions at the University will be workshops to prepare you for placement. You will be required to attend in Weeks 1,2,3 7,8 and 9. Scheduled individual and group tutorials will enable you to discuss your progress.
