During the module students will be encouraged to reflect upon how the key principles such as confidentiality, autonomy, choice, respect and equity are applied in practice in order to protect those in your care. There will be an opportunity to consider the importance of applying policies and procedures to practice to protection of vulnerable people. The location of power within the care relationship will be considered; reflecting upon the importance of promoting the right of individuals through the care that we deliver.
