This module will challenge what you know about photography and ask how photography as a subject is important today. Through a series of talks, lectures and workshops we will investigate how photography communicates and ask you to take control of how your own photographs look and communicate. The emphasis will be on making and taking photographs, exploring aspects such as the frame, vantage point and the photographer's eye. You will be responding to briefs that will enhance your technical skills as well exploring how you understand definitions of Photography. You will be encouraged to experiment and find unique ways to show your creativity through your photographs.
