TSD6103-21-UOB-J Professional Practice and Self Promotion for Textiles and Surface Design

This module supports professional practice activities towards graduation, final exhibitions, and marketing yourself effectively in a global market. You will produce professional visual and written promotional material to market yourself and your work. You will also develop a progression plan and learn about current professional practice-related trends and debates within the textiles, surface design and associated industries to help you direct your career. You will learn how to give a professional pitch and interview skills, and will have the opportunity to have a mock interview or pitch. In addition, you will expand your knowledge of the commercial/work environment.
