AME4065-20-UOB-J Graphical Communications and Computer Modelling

The aim of this module is to introduce basic skills, abilities and understanding in the use and role of graphical communications techniques and computer modelling systems in engineering. You will learn about the various systems and standards used in engineering drawing and design. You will also explore the factors that influence design decisions such as quality, costs, and characteristics of materials or processes. Much of the learning in this module is facilitated by the use of an industrial standard 3D modelling software package, of which you will receive instruction and guidance.
